Hi, and welcome to Chemical Free Gal. My name is Mariana, although many of my friends call me Mari. I’m a mom and wife who is in Christ Jesus, first and foremost. After that, I’m an Environmental Toxins Educator, Holistic Wellness Mentor, Herbalist, Inspirational Writer, Homeschooler, Self-Taught Chef, and Recipe Developer for multiple dietary protocols. I’m also an Advocate for Mold Illness, Environmental Illness, and mold-induced PANS. I’ve been educating and assisting families on their journey to wellness for over 15 years. My number one passion in life is sharing God’s love and hope through his word with people. Secondary to that, I am wildly passionate about helping others find answers to their health woes and using all that God created to help our bodies heal.
As someone who has navigated through the horrors of toxic mold exposure, MCAS, PANS, and chemical sensitivity and has dealt with losing belongings, stable housing, and crippling health conditions, I understand firsthand the struggles faced by families enduring similar trials. Going through these moments and through other difficult seasons is what pushed me many years ago to create this space so that I could offer resources and tools to educate and guide families on their journey. For over a decade and a half, I’ve offered hundreds of complementary consultations to families in need throughout my local and online community. My passion has always been to share what I’ve learned and offer hope and needed support to families. Sharing free resources and consultations with so many has been a true joy.

Depending on your needs, in our Educational Consultation, we can cover any of the options below:
Bulk Support Packages
If you’re new to learning about toxic mold, fragrance-free living, or chemical sensitivities and need extra support or encouragement, I offer two bundled packages that are discounted. These support packages and the rest of the options listed on this page are NOT intended to be used as medical advice. Everything shared is for educational purposes only and not intended to treat, prevent or cure any health condition.
Option 1:
$330 for 3 hours of phone support, to be used in 1-hour increments. No more than one consult per week. (Savings of $45)

I provide compassionate support and guidance during these stressful moments.

Option 3:
Healthy Home Habits to Avoid Toxic Mold. We discuss how to properly care for appliances, bathrooms, and main areas to avoid elevated humidity levels and water damage. Product suggestions are given as well.

Fragrance-Free Low Tox Living & MCS Support
Option 1:
Swapping out fragrances and or essential oils in everyday living.
Product recommendations and DIY recipes are discussed.

Option 2:
Navigating MCS & Chemical Intolerances For Beginners. Have you recently developed chemical sensitivities and intolerances and don’t know what to do? Are you struggling to find safe options for your home and health care? Do you need ideas on how to reduce exposure and communicate your needs for accommodation to family and friends? If you answered yes to two or more of these questions, then this option is for you.
$80 for one 30-minute phone call.

MCS Accommodations for Churches, Schools & The Workplace.
Option 1:
Patient advocacy for clients needing help at church, school, or work. I discuss the need for accommodations for people dealing with MSC, MCAS, and chemical intolerances.
I am available as a patient advocate to speak to employers, church leadership, schools, and families in a group setting. For businesses and churches, I will offer education on MCS and information on the ADA. I will also provide/discuss options regarding fair accommodations if possible. For families, I discuss MCS, aka TILT, in detail, and I share ways that the family can collectively show support and limit the use of things that worsen symptoms for the client.
*If there is a hostile family situation or the well-being and safety of a person are being threatened, I cannot offer my consulting services and recommend that you seek help from a licensed therapist/counselor, medical practitioner, and/or local law enforcement ASAP.

Mold Illness & PANS Education/Advocacy
Option 1:

How to make a tincture, glycerite, salve, ointment, herbal tea blend and infusion, herbal honey, body care item, or herbal bath. Choose two remedies, and I will walk you through how to prepare them.
$125 for one 75-minute educational phone and or Zoom consultation.
Option 2:
Edible gift-making with herbs and foods found in the kitchen. Lessons include medicinal and cooking syrups, herbal coffee, medicinal iced teas, fire cider, infused cooking oils, fruit, and herbal sauces. Choose two items, and I will walk you through how to prepare them.
$125 for one 75-minute educational phone and or Zoom consultation.
Option 3:
Plant Medicine & Herb Guides
Choose one herb from my current list and learn everything about it. I cover the history of each plant, its uses, contraindications, herbal medicine preparations, and more.

Healthy Food Shopping & Meal Creations for Specific Needs
Option 1:
Learn about healthy grocery shopping and meal preparations. Learn what ingredients to avoid while shopping in the grocery store and find healthy swaps for unhealthy favorites.

Option 2:
Guidance for Paleo, GAPS, Sugar-Free, Dairy-Free, Grain-Free, Gluten-Free, and Doug Kaufman dietary protocols and ideas for meal prep. Choose one dietary protocol from the above options.

Home Education Support
Option 1:
Home Education Guidance (homeschooling and unschooling) for families experiencing special circumstances, chronic illnesses and or families injured by toxic mold and chemicals. Let’s talk about your struggles, and let me offer support and guide you in creating a plan that works for your family’s needs.
$90 for one 60-minute phone call.
Option 2:
Herbal Medicine Family Class. For Unschooling and Homeschooling families. Covers one parent and up to 3 children under the age of 15.
Lesson options; How to formulate an herbal tea blend for relaxation, sleep, digestion, menstruation, or immune support. How to formulate a beauty mask and toner. How to prepare a medicinal and dessert syrup. How to prepare herbal coffee, medicinal iced tea, fire cider, infused cooking oil, fruit, and herbal sauces. Choose two items from above, and I will walk you through how to prepare them.
$125 for one 75-minute educational phone and or Zoom consultation.
Blood Work, Holistic Wellness Support & Guides
Option 1:
I help you find clues to what you may need to pay attention to in your standard blood work -CBC, CMP, Total Cholesterol & More (not available at this time)
More options for this topic will be available in late 2023. I’m full of commitments in this area and can’t take on new clients for this at the moment.
Option 2
In 2022-2023 I will offer some of my written guides for purchase. These are guides I created over the years. I use them often when assisting families. Topics include Herbal medicine making, homeschooling for mold-injured families, supporting the body through mold illness, fragrance-free living, lowtox home/personal care products, recipes for gluten, grain-free, and paleo diets, and much more.

Once you know which topic and which option you would like to book an Educational Consultation for, please send me your name, email, and selection below. If I am able to work with you, I will contact you within 3 to 5 business days to schedule a convenient time and send a link for payment. Payment must be sent on the same day that you receive your finalized appointment time.

We run a tight ship and have many responsibilities with our children, jobs, and family, in addition to running this site and hosting various support groups. Lastly, I am not always able to respond to every request.
