Masks & Respirators
Disposable P100 Respirator – I use this one if I am around sick people and if I am trying to avoid pollen, air pollution smoke, paint fumes and heavy air fresheners in public restrooms. These respirators provide protection against both solid and liquid aerosol particulates that may contain oil.
Airinum Urban Air Mask 1.0 This mask is one of my favorite stylish masks for low to mild chemical intolerances and sensitivities. It works much better than other stylish masks and has a replaceable filter. Stay tuned for a review soon for this mask.
“This mask is tested in world-class Swedish laboratory (Camfil) with equivalent results of the American N95 or European FFP2 performance (Test: GB2626 & Certification: KN95). The mask filters the following particles in the air you breathe:
• PM 0.3-10, dust and other air pollutants
• Pollen and other allergens
• Bacteria and other germs
• Wildfire smoke and cigarettes” Source
Cambridge Masks are respirators that use military grade filtration technology to filter out nearly 100% of particulate pollution, gases, as well as bacteria and viruses in a fashion friendly mask suitable for the whole family. Cambridge Mask’s inner filtration layer is made from a 100% pure activated carbon cloth, which was originally invented by the UK Ministry of Defence. It was extensively developed and has been made into products for use in chemical, biological and nuclear warfare protection. They offer decent filtration but not as good as the Airinum mask.
Half Face Respirator 3M™ Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator Assembly includes a 3M™ 6000 Series Half Facepiece Reusable Respirator and two 3M™ 2091 P100 Particulate Filters. This assembly is NIOSH approved for environments containing certain oil and non-oil based particles. When properly fitted, this respirator helps provide protection in a variety of applications including welding, brazing, torch cutting, metal pouring, soldering, and exposure to lead asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA at concentrations up to 10 times the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL).
