Health News: More Johnson & Johnson’s recalls for Tylenol and other over-the-counter medicines linked to a musty or moldy odor

You know I can’t understand why these big companies keep making poor quality products and endangering the public, but they still are open for business.

If you recall I did 2 articles a while back about J & J that you can read here, I suggest you check them out:

Health News: Another Tylenol Recall, your Children are at Risk

Tylenol Recall – Take Action

J&J’s McNeil Consumer Healthcare unit on Thursday said it was now recalling various brands of Tylenol for children and adults and several forms of its Benadryl allergy tablets and Motrin painkiller.  “These lots are being added to the list of recalled products as a precautionary measure after a continuing internal review determined that some packaging materials used in the lots had been shipped and stored on the same type of wooden pallet that was tied to the presence of TBA in earlier recalled lots,” J&J said in a release.

This issue does not seem to be getting any better.  Just this year J & J has issued four product recalls due to quality-control problems at its plants.

I don’t know about you but I am extremely careful about what products I use especially when they are for my baby and older children.  Johnson and Johnson products, in my opinion, should be taken off the market.  Not only have they faced problems with their medicine products but they have been accused of irresponsibly allowing carcinogens like 1,4 Dioxane and Formaldehyde in their baby wash.

So if you’re at the store next time, skip past the J & J products.  If your little ones have a fever there are several great homeopathic pellets that can help like Belladonna and Aconite.  At home, we reduce fever with herbals baths and garlic.  I did an earlier post about this entitled:  Garlic – Nature’s Fever Reducer
