Over the last few years without warning I found myself diving deep into the world of Neuroimmune Illnesses & environmental toxins. Because these issues have affected me personally and many around me, I have become a passionate speaker and advocate for exposing the dangers of environmental toxins and the adverse effects on human health. – When inflammation occurs in the body due to certain contaminants and molds a change in cell membrane permeability occurs. Research on the topic done by Dr. Shoemaker explains that in these acute cases of inflammation, the brain develops microscopic interstitial edema that is not visible on a MRI since the images are on a macroscopic level. The swelling/inflammation in these cases occurs between the cells (on a microscopic level).
– Baby chicks and young pigs suffer from a parasite called Eimeria. It is responsible for killing many of them off.
To counter the death of thousands of animals raised in sometimes filthy and inhumane conditions the mass producers of these animals put Monensin and other antibiotics in animal feeds. (As we have learned this past decade, use of antibiotics in animal feed is harmful to human health and is now being connected to antibiotic resistant bacteria.)
– Toxic molds can cause the immune system to cross react with gluten and casein. So after a person is exposed to airborne molds they may become sensitive to gluten and casein.
– There is a connection between: Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease and inflammatory processes in the body due to exposure to air contaminates inside water damaged homes and buildings.
– Mycotoxins in food.
– Deficiency of MSH, an anti-inflammatory, regulatory hormone is connected to gluten intolerance and other issues.
– Being in a moldy environment is not beneficial in autistic children.
