Hi LCO,
Does it have to be organic or can I just buy the regular?
Hi Francis,
Ye it should be. Please read down at some of the other comments where I explain why.
God Bless you.
Nice recipe.
I was just reading how to grow beetroot and found your recipe.

Wonderful articles n thorough research
You mention few times about diabetes 2, and you said Aloe Vera is good.
Can I take a Aloe Vera leaf and juice it daily. I grow my own Aloe Vera, thanks in Advance
Hi there,
Your very welcome. Everything I do here on this site is out of a great love for people who are suffering both physically and spiritually. My research and all that I know is because of Gods gracious love for me. And I am happy to share that with everyone. 🙂
Aloe Vera can be part of a weekly routine as long as you have no medical reason to avoid it, but I must caution you on two things:
1st – make sure that the plant you have is a female plant and use the gel only. The gel is obtained from the cells in the center of the leaf.
2end – make sure there were no pesticides or chemicals used on the earth below the plant and that the plant itself was treated with chemicals or bug spray.
Here is some information from the Aloe Vera Studies website:
* It contains over 20 amino acids, 8 of which are critical for the human body, as our bodies cannot make them. Aloe contains all of these 8 important amino acids over and above 11 of the 14 ‘secondary’ amino acids.
* This herb is also enriched with a host of vitamins including A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. Vitamins too cannot be manufactured by the body and some cannot even be stored by the body.
Despite the fact that aloe vera contains so many essential ingredients, the manufacturing process of aloe-based products is a critical factor as this determines the overall efficacy of the product that you buy. For example, the gel of the aloe plant if exposed for a long time (around 4 hours) can get oxidized and lose its efficacy.
Personally at home I use a product from Aloe Life to eliminate contamination or oxidation in the process of handling the leaf. You can read about this product here –
Hope this helps,
Blessings
I have been trying to search for a juice recipe good for diabetic people, but for some reasons, I couldn’t find an accurate one. To quote you in one of your comments here…”You may try a juice with wheat/barley grass, celery, cucumber cabbage and half of an apple, one sm carrot and 1/4 of a small beet to make it palatable at first then cut out the carrot and apple.” If it’s not too much to ask from you, can you give the exact quantity for each of the ingredients you have given to make up for a glass of juice best to drink by diabetic people, as well as how many times a day to drink, and should it be take daily also like that of the miracle juice?
May God bless you always for the ministry you are doing, that is, helping many people by sharing with us so much through this site. May your tribe increase 🙂
Hello,
Well it depends on the person and the type of diabetes. I like to tell people to research things and start to create their own mixes as best suited for their body. I cant you give exact quantities because I am not diabetic and I don’t want to tell you something that can harm you. In giving the options here I was simple looking at the sugar content in each and the benefit for diabetics. For specifics on what juice to use I would recommend you view this video below as it contains the entire diet for diabetics that reversed their diabetes.

Hope this helps you and you enjoy the video.

May i know if i could not find the organic beetroot, will it be harmful if i will to drink non-organice beetroot juice ?
Hi,
Just make sure you scrub it very well and wash well before juicing.
Blessings
thank you so much for sharing this!!
i read a lot of the comments but I didn’t quite find what I was looking for yet.
my question(s) are:
I know it says “It is God sent for acne problem.” so does this mean it will help my acne a lot? I have really bad acne.
also, how exactly do I make it? for example, how many carrots/apples/beets should I juice and what should the serving size be approximately?
thanks so much!
Hi there,
When i speak to people about health I often ask them how much water they are drinking and how many bowel movements they are having a day. Almost all of the people I have worked with have issues with their digestion and in turn have troubled skin and pimples. Of course this may not always be the case but its worth asking. If you have suffered with constipation in the past or currently then that could very well be part of your issue.
There is a great recipe for skin problem I listed under the recipes tab. I also think you might benefit from looking in taking Dandelion tea as its an amazing blood cleanser and detoxer for the liver. Friends of mine with acne and rosacea have seen great results while using dandelion tea, just make sure its organic.
If you want to make a small cup you can use 2 carrots, 1/2 of an apple and 1/2 of a beat. Or you can follow the recipe listed in the article.
Hope this helps,
God Bless
Hi there,
For how many years/months should we drink this that it can give us the results or protect us from disease like Cancer. Also we get apples an d carrots only in the winter season so max we can have this drink for 4-5 Months, does this suffice.
Also is it necessary to drink it empty stomach.
I work in a night shift, so do I need to have this in the evening when I wake up?
Thanks you
Hello,
My advice is that we should all consume a diet rich in plants and green foods on a daily basis for the rest of our life. Juices fall into this category too! Fresh vegetable and fruit juices are an excellent way to stay healthy and as long as there are no medical reasons to avoid them, one can take freshly juiced veggies and fruits for life!
Its a good idea to drink on an empty stomach.
Blessings
I and my 7years old daughter have a glass of the juice(cucumber, carrot, beetroot, tomato, curry leaves and lemon) regularly on empty stomach. Can I add an apple also to this.
Hi there. You can, just make sure not to make it to sweet or you will flood your blood with too much sugar. Although natural, it can affect a child and make them hyper. 1/2 of an apple should be ok per serving.
Blessings
Ok,I appreciate this site. I have posted before on here. I have possible M.S.,optic neuritis. had a bad attack back in May which caused damage to my vision. So,I have been juicing daily. I now eat a mostly raw diet, and 95% of stuff I buy is organic. All the produce I buy is organic. I did a juice fast a month ago for 3days, and on Day 4,my eyes actually brightened, and double vision that was left from my attack in my peripheral vision was/is gone. So,daily I juice mostly vegetables. Carrots,Beets(I juice these once a day),celery, romaine lettuce, parsley, kale, and dandelion. I also do fruit juices every few days,or just random, especially pineapple. Now,apples…I am not able to find organic apples until just this week,so I have not been doing apples. They are just coming into season now here. So anyway,my question is…will I get just as much as this miracle drink,if I drop everything I am juicing now,and just do beets, carrots, apples twice a day? I dont know what to do. I have heard parsley is good for stuff like optic neuritis, and dandelion so. I need guidance..
Kevin,
Thank You for your comment.
Juicing an eating a plant based diet is extremely important for your health, so don’t quit juicing a variety of greens n fruits. Regarding neuritis here is some info you may find helpful:
Inflammation can be minimized by the use of the St. John’s wort herb, which also acts in the upkeep of the nervous system, boosting its performance. Drink tea made from the herb daily, about 2 cups a session the alternate is to drink about 2-3 tbsp. of the juice, for a calming effect the lavender or skullcap herb can also be added to the tea or the juice. For external and topical treatments cold medicinal clay combined with the oil of the lemon balm, oil of lavender or oil of St.John’s wort can be used; the cream of the comfrey herb is also an excellent external rub. Antispasmodic properties and a sedative action are to be found in the vervain herb and compresses made out of this herb ca be used as a tropical treatment. The healing and soothing action of the Swedish bitters can be fully employed as a rub onto the affected part to relieve the pain. This herb may also be consumed daily a tsp. in half a cup of liquid or water, this aids in the detoxification of the body. For another external treatment option, pour 5-10 drops of oil of the hayseed plant or a hayseed tincture onto a moist cotton cloth, this can then be used as a wrap around the painful area for half an hour to relieve pain. The affected area can be rubbed or massaged for pain relief using the oil of the arnica herb, massage can also be carried out along the affected parts with the cream of the comfrey or equal mixtures of brandy along with cold-pressed olive oil.
Teas made from a variety of herbs such as the tea from black cohosh, tea made from the lobelia herb, the lady’s slipper, the root of valerian tea and skullcap herb tea can all be used in support therapy alongside regular treatment. Mixing in boiling water a tbsp. of the herbs and letting the herbs steep into the water for ten to fifteen minutes can make the herbal teas. This tea can then be drunk in using a combination of herbs or one herb alone in dosages of about 2-3 cups a day. Some herbs are more effective when taken before sleeping and this includes the valerian herb.
I offer phone and email support for people in the US and various countries. If I can help you further please let me know.

Hi,
How are you? I always see that your responses are so nice even after certain people ask you whether this juice is helpful or not. So my question for you is I just started drinking beet juice except I used a small beet, an apple and celery. I noticed this time that I been drinking it more often and I started to see the color changes in the bowel and in the urine, which I’m not afraid of because I did read what would happen if I were to drink this continuously. I been really trying to lose weight and I weight in I believe at 222 pounds, and I now weigh 215 so I am working out doing alot of cardio at least 45 minutes a day each morning for before work. So I guess my main question would be, if I juiced the beet, apple and carrot first thing in the morning can that be considered the meal I need for energy to start my work out? Or do I have to drink it on an empty stomach then wait and eat some small amount of oatmeal? I been trying so hard and so far as you see I have only lost about 1-2 pounds each week. Any helpful suggestions?
Gilbert,
Thank You for your comment. I love helping people and am always glad, when time permits to answer each question with love and dedication.
If you are working out then I would recommend that you juice after your workout, especially if you are working muscles and doing cardio. Juicing after a workout is great to alkalize the body. When you workout you are putting stress on the body and lose minerals and nutrients. By drinking juice after a workout you are aiding the body in recovery. As a before meal you could make a large smoothie using raw protein blends like the one available by Garden of Life. I would also alternate juices and incorporate greens in to your juices several times a week. Greens are especially good because of their Chlorophyl content and detoxing abilities. Regarding weight loss its very important to look at your digestive health. If you are lacking good bacteria and not having a least one bowel movement a day, it will be harder for you to loose weight.
If you need any other help I offer health and wellness email and phone consults.

Hi,
My mom has recently had some kidney problem, where she has been passing protein. She is been treated for MGN (kidney issue). Presently she is on steroids & her sugar is also fluctuating because of the steroids. Would the juice help her? Also getting organic vegetables & fruits are not possible where she lives. Please advice.
Thanks,
Rachel
Rachel,
I am sorry to hear about your mom. I hope she feels better soon. Adding greens, vegetables and fruits to a persons diet as a daily routine is a great way to improve overall health, unless her doctor or nutritionist says otherwise.
If she cannot get organic fruits at her grocery store she may want to look into farmers markets in her area by doing a search here: http://www.localharvest.org/

Hey,
Do you think beetroot juice can cause iron overload in men? I talked to a lady from a juicing website who said so. I have been juicing like one or 1/2 a beet a day for month, maybe a few times twice in a day,and juicing it with veggies. Also eating a few items a day that have 2-4% iron. like brown rice, figs, dried apricots, seeds etc..last couple weeks ive been having nerve or almost adrenal/thryoid type like symptoms – coldness in body, sensations of heat/cold,very sensitive to touch (especially legs, feet),pretty crazy stuff. I even had one naturopath tell me iron deficiency was possible. I feel it is some sort of detox ,healing crisis,or nerve regeneration.. thanks
Hello Kevin
Any excess of foods and or supplements can cause an issue, they key is balance. If you are concerned with Iron overload then reduce the amount of times you consume this juice per week.
Anytime a person ventures into a detox its Extremely important that you have a full medical evaluation to determine your overall state of health. People that are overly toxic can actually do more harm when detoxing without proper supervision. An overload of toxins can flood the liver causing harm. So a well planned and supervised cleansing and detox is essential so that you are able to release the toxins at the rate that is needed without over burdening your organs.
There are a few books on the topic of cleansing and using foods for sickness and disease. One of my favorites is Charlotte Gersons Book – Healing the Gerson Way: Defeating Cancer and Other Chronic Diseases.
Hope this helps.
Can toddlers & kids drink this miracle drink or is it only for adults.
Hello,
My children started drinking small amounts of vegetable and fruit juices after 1 year. However, i opt to give them smoothies with added greens, so that the sugar from the fruits and vegetables does not affect them.
I have some good smoothie recipes under the recipes tab.

Hi, i have also tried getting organic product this side but no one is supplying organic beetroot, apple and carrots. Can i use the normal ones?
Yes you can use non organic, Just wash very well and peel the beetroot and apples.
Hi ,
My Mom has diabetes and IBS with chronic diarrhea. She’s afraid of eating or drinking anything cold since she’s feeling cold all the time due to lack of nutrition absorbed into body I think. Can she still start to drink this juice with empty stomach in the morning?
Thanks
Blazar
Hello there,
I am sorry to hear about your mom. These are 3 issues that need careful attention and proper diagnosis. Before trying any juice or treatment I would recommend that she be tested for Celiac Disease and Parasites. IBS and chronic diarrhea are often mis-diagnosed when in reality the patient has Celiac Disease or parasites. Its very important also that she get checked for bacterial infections, parasites and h-pylori bacteria. You can read more about this in a short article I wrote below:
http://wp.me/pS0Z7-JQ
For information on Celiac Disease see one of my other sites below:
http://glutenfreemommyandme.com/
Once you rule out the possibilities then you will have a better idea of what is triggering her IBS and diarrhea. These things just don’t happen by chance. Something is prompting it and until you get to the bottom of it, she will continue suffering and she will not be able to properly absorb nutrients found the foods she is eating.
Feel free to post back once you have more info and if I can offer any additional help through any of the services I offer, let me know.
Blessings
I have used beet juice for cleansing the blood stream for almost 10 years now. As long as you stick to the recommended dosage I have not had any problems with side effects. I use RediBeets which is produced by a company in Idaho. It’s concentrated beet juice and the powder makes dosing easier to be sure you’re only getting what you intend to intake.
can we get glow on our skin and get colour
Very informative on juicing beets. can you tell me if their is any health benifit to also juicing the beet root leafy top?
Rick. I don’t juice the tops of beets as they can contain high amounts of oxalic acid.
Blessings,
can a 7 yrs old who has asthma drink this miracle juice?
Justin, I have 3 kids and have given them all vegetable, greens and fruit juices & smoothies since very young. As long as your pediatrician does not see any reason to avoid, it should be fine.
Blessings
Just wondering is there any benefit to also juice the beet root leaves along with the other ingredients? Also I have been doing a daily combo juice of kale-cilantro-parsley-ginger root-lemon-carrots-celery-and of course beet(and a pinch of cayanne pepper). Do you think this is too much?
Rick, interesting blend. If you can handle it that’s great. Some people cant take the cayenne pepper. I make my own concentrated extract of cayenne and drink it in orange juice and then watch the fire come out of my ears, lol.
Just be sure to alternate and use more than one type of greens. So use kale then spinach, sprouts, Chlorella, spirulina, wheatgrass etc…
Juices are an amazing way to detox and get healthier. If t you have not seen the movie – Fat sick and nearly dead I recommend you watch it, its fantastic. http://www.fatsickandnearlydead.com/
Blessings
Sorry didn”t see the previous answer to my posting on the beet leafy tops. Thanks for the quick response. I will not juice the tops again. How about the mega juice concoction I mentioned that I and my wife have been drinking?
This question may have already been answered, however, I would like to know what do you do with the left over pulp?
You can add it to a smoothie or blend with oranges and apples and make popsicles.
Blessings,
Do you think this juice will help with my 16 year old daughter Eczema?
Dear Lisa,
In my research and in my own family I have seen that Eczema, like most ailments is a symptom of a bigger problem. In a lot of cases the bigger problem may be poor digestion, constipation, fungal infection, exposure to black mold and other things. It’s very important that you get to the root cause of the problem instead of masking a symptom.
Its also very important that your daughter consume a diet made up of whole foods, fruit and vegetable juices, green smoothies and super food supplements. When I teach classes locally, I cover these topics and work with people on a one on one basis proving them education that will help them make better choices concerning their health. This juice is a great starter juice but greens and other vegetables can be used several times a day along with smoothies to cleanse the body. As long as your doctor does not have any reason for your daughter to avoid juices, then she should be fine. There are 2 books that are fantastic at explaining how one should go about this process. Henry Bieler’s book, Food Is Your Best Medicine, and from Sidney Baker’s book, Detoxification and Healing
If I can offer you any help in the future please let me know by From time to time I do classes via phone and email consultations for people that live in different countries or do not live near to me in the USA.
Many Blessings

Now the loss has reached to 90% . Use of hearing aids have further damaged the hearing ability . I am 32 years old now . I want to know is there any juice or herb which can cure or atleast improve my hearing loss.
Saniya,
I am sorry about your hearing loss. I placed an article below for you to read that will shed some light on this topic and what you can do in your situation.

Hello ,
May I know what’s the taste and smell of the juice?and if it is good to combine the carrot, beet root , apple and milk?…and can you recommend some fruits to combine these three fruits except lime or lemon?…Thank you..God bless you…
Always,
Laurence
Hello there,
No do not mix with milk. If you did carrot juice alone you could mix with almond milk or rice milk but this juice should be blended as is. If you add more fruits it will make it sweeter and flood your bloodstream with too much sugar. So I don’t recommend adding to many fruits. You could add in a piece of cabbage and a few frozen strawberries though.
Blessings
Hi
I’m wondering if you could make a large batch of this juice, and then freeze it in daily servings to save time ?
Thanks
Lindsay
Lindsay,
Its best to make the juice fresh each day. You can make enough juice for the day and put a few drops of organic lemon juice in it so it does not oxadase as quickly.

hi, . i had Genital herpes last 2000 from my bf that time. i have 5-7x breakouts per year..i never had bf since then..afraid to pass the virus. I am 38yo. now, want to have a family, i have a marriage proposal from a long time suitor, i really like him.. Is there any herbal cure for genital herpes? Kill the virus? Or at least prevent breakouts whenever the virus were active? Please help. Thanks.
I am from Southeast Asia.
Sheila,
Thank You for your question. Since herpes is a virus you can look into herbs that contain anti-viral properties. From my research I know that Astragalus root has been used in Asia for Herpes along with Echinacea root and Siberian Ginsing. At home we make tea and herbal medicine with these herbs but they are also found in pill form.
By paying attention to what we eat we can help to minimize the chance of a herpes recurrence. Here are some expert tips by Dr John Spurge, N.D to help keep herpes symptoms away and to put you in control:
TIP #.1
Avoid supplements or foods that contain excessive Arginine
One theory is that foods which contain high amounts of the amino acid Arginine can provoke or bring on a herpes episode for some people. This is related to the fact that the herpes virus requires this amino acid to grow, replicate and to become active. This is why limiting foods which are very high in Arginine can be helpful for those who are trying to reduce herpes breakouts.
Foods which are high in Arginine and can commonly trigger an outbreak are:
Chocolate
Nuts, including peanut butter
Protein shakes and drinks that contain Arginine
Oats, including porridge
Muscle building formulas and multivitamins that contain Arginine
Reducing some of these foods can be helpful but it is important not to make this the main focus of your diet.
The human body naturally produces Arginine so it can never be eliminated completely. Simply being mindful of foods that are excessively high in this amino acid, and not taking it in supplement form, is sufficient when trying to reduce herpes symptoms.
Tip #.2
Balance Arginine rich foods with Lysine
Lysine helps to stop the virus which causes herpes. If you get ample amounts of this amino acid in your diet it can help to reduce the frequency of the symptoms and make healing faster. This is why it is recommended to eat foods that are high in Lysine, or take a Lysine supplement. See the Supplements section for advice on what to look for in a Lysine supplement.
Foods that contain high amounts of Lysine are:
Most vegetables and fruits particularly beets, avocados, mangos, tomatoes, apples,
apricots, pears, figs and papaya
Dairy products such as milk, yogurt and cheeses
Eggs
Brewer’s yeast
Fish, particularly sardines and cod
Chicken, beef and lamb
Sprouts
Tip #.3
Eat foods which are good for your skin
Lysine is beneficial but it is not the only nutrient that the body requires to ward off herpes. The skin should also be nourished with essential nutrients that are needed to resist an infection, as well as to regenerate and repair itself.
Make sure that you are getting plenty of zinc, vitamin C and bioflavonoids in your diet to help protect, nourish and strengthen your skin. This will help your skin to heal more quickly during breakouts, and will also help make your body more resistant to the symptoms surfacing in the first place.
Foods that contain high amounts of Vitamin C:
Fresh fruits (especially citrus, such as oranges)
Leafy vegetables, such as lettuce, bok choy and spinach
Broccoli
Brussel sprouts
Cauliflower
Bell peppers
Strawberries
Papaya (papaw)
Parsley
Foods that contain high amounts of Bioflavonoids:
Most citrus fruits, including oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, mandarins and others. Many bright colored fruits and vegetables, including cherries, cranberries, grapes, peppers, apricots and prunes
Leafy vegetables, such as lettuce and spinach
Black tea (such as Earl Gray, etc)
Broccoli, brussel sprouts and eggplant (aubergine or egg fruit)
Wine and juice made from berries or grapes
Some varieties of red clover
Rosehips
Foods that contain high amounts of Zinc:
Seafood
Pumpkin seeds
Most dairy products
Beans and lentils
Wholegrain cereals
Legumes
Tip #.4
Avoid or reduce these foods to help prevent outbreaks
– Artificial sweeteners
Anecdotal evidence suggests that artificial sweeteners can trigger a herpes outbreak for some people. They are commonly found in food and drinks that are “diet” or “sugar free” including diet sodas, many toothpastes and sugar substitutes. Check the label to see if it contains the word ‘sweetener’ followed by a reference number, or any one of these ingredient names:
– Saccharin (Sweet’N Low)
– Aspartame (Equal, NutraSweet)
– Sucralose (Splenda, Altern), or
– Sorbitol
– Protein shakes or muscle building formulas that contain the amino acid Arginine
– White bread – replace with wholemeal, rye or brown bread where possible
– Cut back on coffee, caffeine and soda, especially if you feel you have too much of these in your diet
– If you are going to drink alcohol or take recreational drugs…
try to do so in moderation. If you have a late night or do not get adequate sleep, try taking Panax or Korean Ginseng (before, during and after) to help reduce the negative impact it can have on your body. This in turn can help reduce the chance of a breakout.
White and refined sugars
– Be mindful of excess sweets in your diet and opt for a natural sweetener instead of sugar where possible, such as agave syrup or stevia
Eat chocolate, nuts and oats in moderation, not every day or to excess
Tip #.5
Eat lots of broccoli and other “cruciferous” vegetables
Vegetables belonging to the cruciferous family (including brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, broccoli and kale) may help to stop herpes in its tracks, this is due to a naturally high amount of a compound called indole-3-carbinol (I3C).
Clinical studies show that this compound has the potential to interfere with the way the Herpes simplex virus (HSV) reproduces. The preliminary trial results are very promising, so eat up on these nutritious vegetables whenever you can.
Tip #.6
Ditch processed and junk food
The occasional treat is no problem, but where possible try to avoid deep fried foods, sugary treats, white bread, junk foods and any processed or packet foods. Foods with artificial colorings, flavorings and preservatives fit into this category too.
Try to reduce the amount of saturated animal fat consumed (which is found in all animal products, and especially fatty cuts of meat) and particularly avoid trans-fatty acids. Trans-fatty acids are commonly found in:
Margarine
Fast food restaurant food
Packet or snack foods, such as crisps
Frozen dinners
Some simple adjustments to your kitchen cupboard can help you live a healthier life and therefore help to prevent herpes outbreaks:
Use real butter in place of margarine
Use a quality, high smoking point oil when you cook your meals such as olive, coconut, rice bran or grapeseed oil
Use raw sugar or a natural sweetener, instead of white sugar or artificial sweeteners
Tip #.7
Increase the amount of fresh “raw” foods in your diet
This could be the single most important diet tip of this entire guide because what you eat and therefore how your body functions all begins from here. There are a number of reasons why we might neglect to eat raw fruits and vegetables, including convenience, family tradition and how we are raised. The truth is, eating fresh raw foods everyday should not be a “diet”, it should be a way of life. It will help you to maintain a healthy weight, have more energy and vitality, more youthful skin and… less outbreaks.
Some simple suggestions to get started:
Include fresh, raw fruits and vegetables as a side to your breakfast, lunch or dinner
When you have a snack try munching on vegetable sticks made of celery, beets or carrot, with a nice dip such as hummus to go with it
Make a salad for lunch that has as many raw vegetables as you can find, including fresh greens and sprouts, and top with your choice of oil such as coconut, olive, grapeseed, flaxseed, etc. Finish with a decent pinch of salt and a very small splash of apple cider vinegar
Drink a freshly made fruit or vegetable juice each day (within minutes of making it) from whatever is in season in your area. Some nice mixes are:
– Apples, carrots and celery
– Apples, pineapples, mint and lime
– Tomatoes, beets, carrots, salt and pepper
– Berries, apples and watermelon
– Whatever yummy fruits you have access to, be creative
– Add a dash of fresh ginger or bee pollen to your fruit juices, if you desire
Tip #.8
Eat foods which help you to de-stress and relax
Stress has a profoundly negative effect on the body and may contribute to the length and frequency of herpes breakouts. Try to avoid or reduce the stress in your life however you can.
You can improve your diet to assist your body in weathering the stress by eating a diet rich in B vitamins and magnesium. Vitamin B5 has long been considered the “anti-stress” vitamin, and when taken along with vitamin B6 and magnesium your body has a better chance to recover from stressful situations.
If taken in a supplement form, B vitamins should always be taken together in a “complex” to prevent causing an imbalance because some B vitamins are codependent on one another. The Vitamin B complex is comprised of the following; B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacin), B6 (pyridoxine), B9 (folic acid) and B12 ( cobalamin). The B group of vitamins are also important for a healthy nervous system and for the body’s production of serotonin, a hormone released in our brain which helps us to feel happy, relaxed and at ease.
Foods that contain high amounts of B group vitamins:
Bananas
Wholegrain foods and brown rice
Green leafy vegetables
Brewer’s Yeast
Barley
Soy Products
Turkey
Tuna & Salmon
Other Meats and eggs
Dairy Products
Mushrooms
Tip #.9
Indulge in antioxidant-rich foods, such as berries and prunes
There are lots of foods that nature has given us that possess the potential to ward off diseases and infections including herpes, and some of the most powerful of these are called ‘antioxidants’.
An antioxidant is something that helps to neutralize and stop the damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are caused by many things, including chemicals and toxins in our food and environment, and they are responsible for aging, tissue damage and deterioration of the body.
These foods are on top of the antioxidant rich list:
Berries
Apricots, prunes and dates
Broccoli, brussel sprouts and artichokes
Kale and spinach
Chilli, peppers, red cabbage and beets
Parsley
Lemon
Ginger
Tomatoes
Red grapes
Garlic
Tea (especially green tea)
Carrots
Soy
Wholegrains
Other highly beneficial superfoods for herpes are:
Reishi mushrooms
Coconuts, particularly coconut oil
Barley grass
Spirulina
Shitaki mushrooms
Goji berries
These are just a few. Look for other foods that are antiviral, contain anti-oxidants or have immune
enhancing benefits.
Tip #.10
Drink purified, alkaline water
Not only is the amount of water you drink important, but the quality of your water can make a difference too. Some chemicals such as chlorine are necessary to filter germs from our water, but this chemical is also extremely toxic to our health and ideally should be removed from the water before drinking.
Carbon filters are availble which filter chlorine from your water and can be fitted either to the house or just to a particular tap or fosset. A reverse-osmosis filter is another type of filter which will remove all heavy metals and chemicals from your water. However, this process removes a lot of the beneficial minerals too, so it is important to find a filter that also replaces these minerals, such as through the use of a coral or mineral cartridge.
Very importantly, it is preferable to drink water that is alkaline. By alkalizing the body you help your entire system fight off “free radicals” which can cause deterioration of the cells. Many scientists claim miraculous benefits for a wide range of health conditions through the regular consumption of alkalizing water.
If you don’t have access to alkaline or filtered water, try having a glass of water with freshly squeeze lemon or lime juice each morning and night. This is highly alkalizing and will help provide you with a good start.
I pray your condition gets better.
God Bless You
Hi can you use cooked beetroot?
Hi there.
No, should be raw.
Hello LCO,
I am currently on medication for Hypothyrodicism & High blood pressure.
I do brisk walking every other day of the week, covering a distance of 6 km up & down mainly to achieve weight loss & sound physical condition. I am also practising the water therapy whereby around 1 ltr of water is consumed empty stomach in the morning & the bed tea taken only after one hour. This is working very well with my bowel movements & I do not wish to replace it with the miracle drink.
Is it ok if I start using the drink after the intake of water in the morning?
i would appreciate your advise. thanks.
I would wait a few hrs after drinking water so that you don’t dilute the juice.
Hi LCO,
I got an info from this miracle juice and try to do some research and got the same info as yours.. and followed this trend… Just wondering since you mention that this is ok to drink for breast feeding moms…but not to much on Vit.A… is there any bad effect on my baby if I eat too much on carrots or other veggies and fruits rich in Vit.A. I used to eat carrots everyday… is there any side effect on my baby if I will eat carrots and the same time drink this miracle juice?
Thanks and God bless…
Amie
Hello,
As with all things moderation is key. Its not good to overdose on anything even natural juices. I enjoyed this juice on and off for years with and after carrying my children. An occasional dinner with carrots while drinking this juice should be OK but do run it par your health practitioner of you have any concerns. Vitamin A passes through breast milk, but it is not clear if it is dangerous to the child for the mother to take too much vitamin A, although it is certainly dangerous for the mother.
If you are taking a good prenatal vitamin and drinking a mixed juice with carrots several times a week you should not be in danger of overdosing but as I mention below always check with your practitioner as the individual needs of each person varies based on their vitamin deficiencies and needs.
Blessings
Hi LCO
God Bless you for your efforts. Am HIV+. which combination of the juices will help me maintain a good health
Rebecca,
God bless you. Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Its very important that you eat a well balanced diet making sure to eat a daily amount of greens, vegetables and fruits and avoid all processed, canned and boxed foods.
As far as herbs are concerned, my research has shown me that both astragalus and olive leaf have been used to maintain a strong immune system. At home we use astragalus anytime a virus is present and to boost our immune system. Here is an article about astragalus and HIV Aids: http://www.naturalnews.com/024799.html

Good day LCO
Firstly may God continue to bless you and your family and keep you on the path of giving, as the rewards will be as fulfilling as your desire to help. Thank you for sharing this informative site. .. I am about to begin the journey to improve my health with this drink. I have fibroids, low vitamin d and hyper-thyroid and am nursing (all i believe are kinda linked). My question…Many sites have indicated that carrot contains Phytoestrogen and may contribute to more estrogen and therefore be a factor that may increase fibroids i.e. following website. Do you agree/disagree and if so can you suggest any alternative ingredient as I am still interested in consuming a similar drink
http://www.livestrong.com/article/83849-foods-contain-phytoestrogen/
Thank you in advance
Destinee
Destinee,
Thank you for your sweet comments. May God hear you and continue to grant me the energy and ability to continue helping those in need.
From my research I have learned that diet is very important for women with fibroids. However, you may not know that vitamin D levels are crucial for proper thyroid function and formation of fibroids. A lack of Vitamin D has been linked with the production of fibroids. In relating the thyroid function and vitamin d, Richard Shames, MD said: “This particular vitamin is so crucial to thyroid function that its status has now been elevated by researchers to co-hormone. We now know that the variability of thyroid to work or not work in your body is dependent upon the presence of Vitamin D, making it not just of benefit, but absolutely essential.”
So, its very important that you raise your d levels. I would converse about this with your doctor for approval.
At home we take (during flu season) about 5000 to 10000 units of D3 a day when levels are low. This is what we use along with vitamin c and others herbs to steer clear away from the flu.
In relating to the juice, yes carrots contain phytoestrogens but they also inhibit tumor growth. So I am tossed a bit back by these two facts. I lean towards the belief that if one consumes carrots in juice a few times a week it should be OK. But I am no medical professional. However if I were dealing with my own health issue I would definitely try the carrot juice and increase d levels ASAP.
Here is a GREAT article on the topic on consuming carrots to assist with fibroid growth. http://www.fibroids1.com/news/mainstory.cfm/183
Hope this helps!
Lots of blessings to you and yours.
Happy New year,I wish you all the very best, from prosperity, health, happiness and blessings…thank you again for your response. Hi dear. I currently a lot acne on my face, can i drink this juice? for how long it will improve my skin? thank you very for your help.
Hello Mina,
This juice wont hurt. But if you are looking to improve skin you need to attack the real problem. If you do not have 1 bowel movement per day and suffer from constipation then that is part of the problem. Or perhaps your hormone levels are off or your liver needs cleansing. There are many areas to look at.
Somebody necessarily lend a hand to make significantly articles I’d state. This is the first time I frequented your web page and up to now? I surprised with the analysis you made to make this actual publish amazing. Fantastic process!
In our place, we can’t find beetroot easily. What can I substitute for it? which is best for cancer patient? Thanks.
You can use organic unpeeled potatoes.
can I also add celery, cucumber & ginger with beets, carrots & apples?
Be careful because both celery and cucumber are high n natural sugar, but you can add a piece of each.
Dear Author
i m am very recent turned vegetarian or maybe smei vegetarian . i have tried to bto incorporate as much as natural ingredients in my diet over last 1 yr. i had strated of by having a glass of carrot and carrot and green appl juice very recenlty i felt i wanted to try carrot and beets although i wud like to know which drink would be more advatages. is it more better to have carrots an d green apple or carrots and beets i only have a glass a day and usualy the ratio is 4 carrots medium ones:1 beet or 1 green apple
If you can cut out the apple and tolerate the taste that’s great. Its less sugar and you will still reap the benefits from the beets and carrots. Blessings

does the beetroot have to be cooked or not when you make the juice
It should be raw.
One cup of raw beets contains phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron, and potassium as well as vitamin A, niacin, folic acid, and biotin. There are essential live enzymes, along with the natural form of betaine, which aids in cleansing the liver and reducing homocysteine levels.
And when these nutrients are captured in a cold juicing process, the body can quickly absorb them and utilize their benefits. The beet juice product we’ve used since the mid-90s is called RediBeets. I saw someone else here mentioned it. It saves the trouble and mess of juicing beets, as a concentrated beet juice powder with only the fiber removed. You should give it a try.
Thru Monday, January 23rd our vendor is having a special: Buy one bottle of AIM RediBeets, get half off the second bottle. Must use coupon code: FB012012 and redeem @ http://www.chrisbyrnes.com/redibeets
So i started juicing everyday about a week ago. What i use is…5 or 6 carrots (depending on size), 1 half cucumber, 2 apples (small) 4 celery sticks, a half a beet and the last 3 days ginger root. I have noticed a few things….1 i havent had acne in a long time and now i see little ones comming out. …….2, a couple nights ago i woke up in the middle of the night not feeling so good, like i felt a slight flu comming on but all the next day felt fine untill the following night when i woke up in the middle of the night just shivering out of control for at least an hour. the next day i felt fairly normal. now i just read something about not to eat or have beets everyday because your body could begin to have an allergic reaction and if i continue to drink this juice everyday my body begins to create a imbalance. Could this be the cause of what happend in the middle of the night?
Thank you very much for this nice post, I will visit your page again in future for reference purpose.
What a wonderful thread and you are so very helpful! I love all your advice. I have chronic pancreatitis and just had an attack a couple of days ago and still having some pain. Haven’t been able to eat much in the last four to five months other than brown rice, sweet potatoes, peas. I believe I can heal my pancreas and want to do some juicing and this looks perfect. Do you know of any specific herbs that would also be beneficial or have you treated chronic pancreatitis? Also do you recommend a diet of just juicing? I was thinking it would be good to let the pancreas rest as much as possible. Thank you. You are a God send! God Bless!

One glass of juice means, how many millileter?
I started taking this juice. However, my urine turns red. Should i stop this juice or not?
Please help me.
Hello,
I drink the juice everyday for about 3 months. But I am not sure about the beetroot, for my country, Cambodia, the beetroot is colored white, so how is different from the red beetroot? One more, is it useful for hepatitis B?
Thanks
Vuthy
Hello there. I have never used white beets fro juicing but I hear they are not as sweet but also have a cleaner taste. You can also try substituting with a potato. I give an explanation about this in one of the comments below.
THIS JUICE REALLY WORKS,
I have a fibroid tumor in my uterus and it causes hemmorraging every month when I have my period. This excessive bleeding has made me very anemic. Three different doctors (the emergency room doc, my Gp, and my gyno) have all told me that I needed a blood transfusion or risk dying. I told them that I will not have anyone else’s blood in me and wanted to try to raise my iron and hemoglobin myself. They told me I was being foolish and that it would take 3 monthes or so to raise my levels using their prescription iron pills. The pills they gave me were inorganic and had many side effects, and I did not take one of them. Instead I got some natural iron pills from whole foods and started to eat only iron rich foods and drinking nourishing herbal teas. My hemoglobin was 7.2 (11-15 is normal), after two weeks my hemoglobin went up to 7.4 which was way too slow. I heard about the apples beets and carrots juice as being a sort of “blood transfusion” so I started drinking this along with taking my iron supplements and eating iron rich food and herbal tea and within another 2 weeks AND after having a very heavy period, my hemoglobin was 8.7. In a few more weeks it should be normal. Never underestimate the power of fruits and vegtables and mother earth’s ability to heal us. She has everything we need, NOT chemo or other manmade trash.
*I should say though that I drank the juice a little different than the article, I used the abc 123 method, which is one part apple, 2 parts beet, and 3 parts carrot juice.
cheers 🙂
